SHOW SNIPPETS:
“I remember saying to God: I will stop drinking, but I need your help.”
“I’m an all in or all out kind of person.”
“Anger is my driver, and it’s something that I have to work on daily.”
“We are all horrible at times.”
“(in ministry) we are let in - which is both a privilege and a curse - to people’s sins and struggles.”
“The more I talk about the anxiety and the dark times, the less hold it has over me.”
“I was trying to step in and be the saviour and the answer and the solution to everybody’s problems, and I don’t need to do that. ”
“It doesn’t make sense to try and cover up our struggles and our weaknesses because Christ came to die for us not because we have got it all sorted but because we are broken vessels.”
“While it’s wonderful to hear that people are listening (to Some Answers) what encourages me probably more is hearing people’s story of faith and how they keep persevering through the dark days because then it reminds me that I’m not an idiot.”
